Local scaling in homogeneous Hamiltonian systems.
We study the local scaling properties associated with straight line periodic orbits in homogeneous Hamiltonian systems, whose stability undergoes repeated oscillations as a function of one parameter. We give strong evidence of local scaling of the Poincaré section with exponents depending simply on the degree of homogeneity of the potential. PACS numbers: 05.45 +b To appear in Phys. Rev. Letts.
متن کاملSubspace Identification of Local 1D Homogeneous Systems
This paper studies the local subspace identification of 1D homogeneous networked systems. The main challenge lies at the unmeasurable interconnection signals between neighboring subsystems. Since there are many unknown inputs to the concerned local system, the corresponding identification problem is semi-blind. To cope with this problem, a nuclear norm optimization based subspace identification...
متن کاملSmall-time local controllability of homogeneous systems
In this paper we consider the local controllability problem for control-affine systems that are homogeneous with respect to a one-parameter family of dilations corresponding to time-scaling in the control. We construct and derive properties of a variational cone that completely characterizes local controllability for these homogeneous systems. In the process, we are able to give a bound on the ...
متن کاملthe local systems hamiltonian in the weakly nonlocal Poisson brackets
On the local systems hamiltonian in the weakly nonlocal Poisson brackets. Abstract We consider nonlocal field-theoretical Poisson brackets containing the operator of integration in the nonlocal part. The main attention is given to the nonlocal brackets of Hydrodynamic Type for which we introduce the Physical and Canonical forms. We use the Canonical form of these brackets for the investigation ...
